The 27th Annual Capital Region Apple and Wine Festival will bring weekend fun and food on September 14 (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and 15 (from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), 2019. The Altamont Fair Grounds in Altamont, NY, will host this massive, open-air affair with tons of free parking and a small entrance fee. At the entrance, a collection barrel will await to hold loads of generosity in the form of nonperishable donations for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. Wine tasting will feature local favorites somewhat innumerable here but will include samples from various local wineries such as Adirondack, Eagle East Vineyards, Thousand Islands and Zugibe Vineyards.
The Festival will also stage the car show, cooking demonstrations by professional chefs, live musical entertainment and arts and crafts. Tables will display bags of local apples for purchase. Children will find their niche from among such activities as the circus, haunted house, face painting, pony rides and inflatable castles.
The New York City Wine and Food Festival (NYCWFF) will captivate attendees with hundreds of globally renowned chefs cooking the best foods to pair with exquisite wines. In true fashion for the city that never sleeps, this festival will take place from Thursday, October 10 through Sunday, October 13, 2019. Tickets will disappear fast and all proceeds will benefit the Food Bank For New York City. Tickets prices begin at $500.
The Toast of Brooklyn Wine and Food Festival will hold its 12th Annual event at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Flushing Avenue. The party will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Attendees will enjoy the sounds of an unprecedented number of live band participants in the festival. Tickets start at $50.
The 6th Annual Adirondack Wine and Food Festival will present weekend fun for family and friends on June 27 (from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and 28 (from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), 2020. Arranged by the Adirondack Winery, it will take place at the Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George, NY. Outdoor tent setups will feature wine and food artisans who will gladly share samples of their creations. The admission fee will cover the wine glass for sampling and to have as a keepsake of the event. From wines to brews to distills to fudge to chocolates to cheese, they will not run out and purchase booths will help you take some home.
The Niagara USA Wine Festival
will throw its 12th annual outdoor event at the Village of Lewiston, NY from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on July 25 and 26, 2020. Visitors not intent on sampling wines or who are under the age of 21 years, will not pay the entrance fee. Tickets start at $25 USD.
The festival will include local food vendor displays where you can enjoy their meals for a price. People who will taste alcoholic beverages will receive a commemmorative wine goblet per the purchase of their ticket. Throughout the day, local vintners will introduce seminars on the day in the life of a wine-bound grape. Some participating wineries will include 810 Meadworks, Château Niagara, Lake Ontario, Liten Buffel, Midnight Run Wine Cellars and Vizcarra Vineyards.
